His fingers left her lips badly bruised and beaten. The city disappeared into the shadows while he sat back and watched her struggle with a short length of rope tied tight to the bed. She played along with all of his games as though she never really wanted to leave him but she looked at the pitiful man lying beside her and said, "Something has to change." She's crying out again, over him again, but no one's listening. The bottle hit the floor, rolled right past her fingers. There was nothing she could do, nothing she wanted, so she laid back and dreamt of the future while the pills went to work undoing the past. He came along to see her dying as if she never really wanted to love him but she could see that pitiful man kneeling beside her and said, "Something had to change." She's crying out again, over him again, but no one's listening. The detective came out to see him, said the doctors found some bruising. He said he had no idea, he said he did nothing wrong. Now he's locked up in jail, the warden finds him screaming. She never went out to see him, she said she did nothing wrong. He's crying out this time, now he knows how she felt, but no one's listening.

The people cheer; a sound they haven't heard in years. Their noble cause - noble enough to make them pause and hold their breath until the people scream, demanding death. They came to me. A beam of light sent to deceive. I meant no harm but I guess I won them with my charm. I've lost control. I'm a sinking ship lacking a hole. The crowd revolts. They both saw the sudden, frantic change of pace. She thought they knew. He makes a sad attempt to run before he's caught, twisted around and spit back out. So here I am. Hung up high for anyone who wants to see. I must confess: I'd expect no less than what I got. And what you'll get is a man who'll run to save his life.

I can't tell you everything I've learned from a tragically short life. Yes, I knew him. Was I a victim? Why should I have to say when I'm so sure no one will listen. I had no choice so why must we argue back and forth about such worthless things? I know. You're right. It's not my fault. Can we just talk about something else right now? Perhaps some other day you can buy the drinks and I'll tell you all the details of my death, but for now let's just sit down right here and enjoy the brilliant view. It's so absurd to think about it now that I'm here.

And I tell you how beautiful you are. You make me want to catch your stars. You let me know I'll never be alone. You put my heart in your hand. And I tell you how I'll write songs for you. You make me want to tell everyone about you. You let me know how sweet you are. You put my heart in my stomach. So you know how much I love you. And you know I love you.
5.
Don't you want to do this for you. Don't you think that it's part of you. I can't seem to. What can I do. It's too hard to. Why don't you just do this for you.

Enigmatic 02:29
A lonely, untouchable woman walks the streets at dawn before the wake. Pondering how her life will change, she falls to the ground from the heartache. The oceans swelled inside her wandering, absent mind. The waves came crashing down to leave her walking blind. She's waiting for the perfect time. She won't be another senseless crime. She came back - just one more time - she came back. The lonesome, reclusive widow sits and talks with the ghost of her former lover. Spinning a sad tale of mystery, she puts on an act as if undercover. The oceans swelled inside her wandering, absent mind. The waves came crashing down to leave her walking blind. She blames herself for what was said. He begs her to desert her bed. She hasn't left their house since she last said goodbye to him. He waits so patiently for her. She struggles with her eyes a blur. He hasn't left their house since she last said goodbye to him. She came back - for one last time - she came back. She's waiting for the perfect time. She came back - for one last time - she came back. She's waiting for the perfect time. She came back - for one last time - she came back. She's waiting for the perfect time. She came back - for one last time - she came back. She's waiting for the perfect time.

Please don't let go. I thought you would remember. The day we first met. It was a cold and dark December. It's one I won't forget. One we won't forget.

I'm trying so desperately. I don't want to spend all of my life with you thinking I don't love you. It kills me to know you're thinking of someone else when I'm the only one around. We were so happy then. I even remember when we would talk about places we'd been. Now it's all I have to remind me of you. I never knew what you wanted from me. I couldn't see it then but you set me free. Oh, how the tables have turned. I suppose the better man is waking up to you now. Still, I can't stop my legs from shaking when I think about you in his arms. We were so happy then. I even remember when we would talk about places we'd been. Now it's all I have to remind me of you. I never knew what you wanted from me. I couldn't see it then but you set me free. I had my chance to be all your own but that's in the past and I'm trying to start my life over again. I never knew what you wanted from me. I couldn't see it then but you set me free. I had my chance to be all your own but that's in the past and I'm trying so desperately.

Strung Along 02:06
We're all playing along in her wicked little game of desire. We're all being strung along and she doesn't even care if we are hurt. Every word from her mouth makes me think I'm not good enough to be with her. She said that she would be thinking of me but I know that she could exist without me. That's when I knew I'd lost her. We're all staying around to find out if she's made up her mind. We're all dying to know which one of us she'll be choosing this time. I can't help but think that she loves me but I know that's impossible for this particular girl. Then she ran away with her old flame so I knew I had to stop thinking of her with him. She could never be all my own. She could never be all my own. You're all playing along in her wicked little game of desire. You're all being strung along and she doesn't even care about you.

He's got a gun, got to run, got to come around. Get down, get down, get down. Hit the ground when the bomb blast breaks, hear the sound of the glass shattering around. The voices in his head come alive at night in his bed. He wants to know why they have selected him. Her pretty face and the things she'd do for him would give him thoughts that even he would find grim. He finds comfort in knowing she'll always be there. He could feel her nails dragging down his back but when he looks around and sees noone he'll stop - he'll stop and open his eyes. In his imagination he wears the crown and is king of the kingdom. He'll have you hung for never coming to see him. With his head in the lunette, he can't stop thinking of that sweet, young soubrette; though at times such as this she seems to disappear. He could feel her nails dragging down his back but when he looks around and sees no one he'll stop - he'll stop and open his eyes. He'll open his eyes; he'll open his eyes; he'll open his eyes.

Thank you for meeting with me again. Now where were we? Won't you walk with me, please? I don't know quite what to say to you. You seem to know a great deal more than I did at your age. The time has come for me to bid you a fond farewell. Until we meet again sometime - goodbye, goodbye. Dear friend farewell, goodbye. The time has come for me to bid you a fond farewell. Until we meet again sometime - goodbye, goodbye. Dear friend farewell, goodbye. I wish we didn't have to leave each other. It's at these times I scare myself the most. You know, I've never told that to anyone. It seems so strange to tell someone I've just recently met. The time has come for me to bid you a fond farewell. Until we meet again sometime - goodbye, goodbye. Dear friend farewell, goodbye. The time has come for me to bid you a fond farewell. Until we meet again sometime - goodbye, goodbye. Dear friend farewell, goodbye.

about

Division Naperville, Illinois

"Comparisons to the Smoking Popes would be a no-brainer, but after listening to [Division] a bit more, it's apparent that they are a bit better. Sure it's pop punk, but it's moodier and a bit more progressive, creating a somewhat newer being in a sea of similar-sounding bands following the same formula. Look out Alkaline Trio, Chicago may have a new favorite son."
